We play Saturday morning Juniors and Saturday afternoon Seniors. We also have a very active Night Tennis competition during Summer. This is played on Wednesday nights from 7pm and involves up to 24 teams playing under lights on our 12 new plexi-pave hard courts.
A big part of our Club is our members enjoying varied social events such as a quiz night, winery tour, golf day, Christmas party and Presentation Night.
The completion of the new clubhouse in early 2017 will see the introduction of a new tennis experience, Sunday social tennis.
We look forward to welcoming new members to our Club!
Volunteers are the lifeblood of Seacliff Tennis Club. We are grateful for their commitment and work in making us a successful club, on and off the court.
In February this 2016, the City of Holdfast and Seacliff Tennis Club celebrated the official opening of 12 new tennis courts at the Kaui Parade Sporting and Community Precinct. Still in progress is the three-storey Kauri Community and Sports Centre Building which should be completed in April 2017.
Hello Everybody and welcome to the annual Seacliff Tennis Club Doubles Day,
We are keeping the same format as we have previously with all of the doubles matches being played in the one day. The tournament is meant to be fun with people dressing up as much as possible in costume or bright colours. There will be a prize for best dressed on the day 😊. All participants are encouraged to get to the club by 9:15 with play starting at 9:30. Having all participants at the club by 9:15 will allow us to put as many matches on as possible and get through all the matches in an organised fashion. The Dewar Cup will be awarded to the winner of the junior/senior competition this year. This competition is a highlight of the day and a great way for the junior and senior members of the club to learn from each other and form strong relationships within the club. While participants are waiting to play their matches they can enjoy some nice food and beverages available at the canteen and watch some of the quality tennis being played. There will also be raffle tickets being sold on the day which will be drawn at the end of year presentation night. The prizes will include donations from our sponsors who will also be attending the day. At the end of the day there will be a free BBQ available for all club members to enjoy. All winners of the tournaments will also be presented at the end of year presentation night.
I hope to see as many Seacliff Tennis Club members as possible on Sunday to enjoy each others company and play some quality tennis.

Rules
First to 6 games. NO Tiebreaks
If a player wins the first game of the match they start the following game at -15 or -1 depending on what system works best for you. If a player goes 2 games to 0 up then they start the next game at -30 or -2 etc.
Handicap singles will be played between the open singles matches.
